ASUS unveils 610Hz 24.1-inch FHD gaming monitor

ASUS launches the ROG Strix XG248Q5G-P and XG32UCG  as the brand's fastest refresh rate gaming monitors.

The fastest monitor in the market

First is the ROG Strix XG248Q5G-P, a 24.1-inch FHD eSports gaming monitor with an exceptionally high refresh rate. In overclocked mode, it reaches 610Hz, significantly exceeding standard high-refresh-rate displays made for highly competitive gaming.

The features

The monitor features a custom Super TN panel, optimized for low input latency and fast response times rather than wide viewing angles or deep contrast. Despite being a TN panel, it covers 90 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut and offers a 0.1ms response time.

It also has three choices for refresh rate modes: 240Hz, 480Hz, and 610Hz (overclocked). It supports NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium for variable refresh rate compatibility. Additional features include dual-backlight strobing for motion clarity, AI Vision for dynamic scene optimization, and ROG Gaming AI enhancements, such as on-screen crosshairs and shadow boosting.

For I/O, it offers DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1, USB Type-C with Power Delivery, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The monitor also comes with a flexible arm mount.

ROG Strix XG32UCG

Alongside this model, Asus unveiled the ROG Strix XG32UCG, a 32-inch dual-mode gaming monitor. It can switch between 4K at 160Hz and Full HD at 320Hz, using a Fast IPS panel with HDR10 support and a 0.3ms response time. Like the XG248Q5G-P, it includes AI enhancements, multiple connectivity options, and customizable RGB lighting via Aura Sync.

China price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

ROG Strix XG248Q5G-P - CNY 7,999 (around PHP 62,622)

ROG Strix XG32UCG - CNY 3,999 (around PHP 31.3K)

These will become available in the US starting May. No word yet for other markets as of the moment.
