Massive battery on a mid-range

The new phone arrived with a familiar back design and a huge circular camera island. It is available in Pink, Black, and Gray colorways. vivo claims it is ultra durable with the addition of Diamond-hard frames. It has dust and water resistance too but did not detail out what IP rating it uses.

In front, the phone sports a 6.77-inch AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 5,000 nits peak brightness.

Inside, it is powered by the 2.5GHz 4nm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 octa-core chip with Adreno GPU, 8GB/12GB RAM LPDDR4X RAM, and 128GB/256GB storage.

Among its highlights is the massive 7,300mAh battery with 90W USB-C fast charging.

For cameras, the phone uses a 50MP f/1.79 Sony IMX882 main shooter coupled with a 2MP depth helper and Aura Light. For selfies, the phone uses a 32MP front camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

Other features noted are the stereo speakers and large VC cooling area of 7800mm2.

For OS, the phone runs Android 15 with OriginOS 15 skin on top.

China price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

vivo Y300+ 12GB/256GB - CNY 2,199 (around PHP 17.5K)
vivo Y300+ 12GB/512GB - CNY 2,499 (around PHP 19.9K)

It is currently available in China. There's no information yet if it will be sold to other countries as of the moment.
