Xiaomi Philippines today launched its newest affordable tablet with premium features, the Redmi Pad 2 4G.

There is a new tablet with an 11-inch 2.5K screen and Helio G100-Ultra chip in PH

The device features a nice-looking metal unibody design in Graphite Gray and Mint Green colors as well as an 11-inch 10-bit LCD screen (ultra clear) with a 90Hz refresh rate, 2.5K 2560 x 1600 resolution at 274 ppi.

This display promises up to 600 nits peak brightness and comes with DC dimming, TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light (Software Solution), TÜV Rheinland Flicker Free, and TÜV Rheinland Circadian Friendly certifications. It also has a Reading mode and Wet touch technology.

Inside, the tablet features the 2.2GHz 6nm MediaTek Helio G100-Ultra octa-core processor, up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, up to 256GB UFS 2.2 expandable internal storage, and a large 9,000mAh capacity with USB-C 18W fast charging.

This tablet also has 4x speakers and Redmi Smart Pen compatibility. It also has Redmi Pad 2 Cover and Redmi Pad 2 Screen Protector.

The company said that it also has Xiaomi Interconnectivity features such as call sync, network sync, and shared clipboard, allowing it to have intuitive workflows and greater flexibility across screens.

Xiaomi explains that call sync allows incoming phone calls to be answered directly on the tablet, allowing you to stay connected without switching devices. When WiFi is unavailable, network sync steps in, enabling quick access to your phone's hotspot with a single tap. Meanwhile, shared clipboard makes it easier to copy and paste text and images between your phone and tablet, as though working on the same device.
