Is HONOR setting the bar up high?

Following the launch of HONOR X70 with a whopping 8,300mAh silicon-carbon battery, it seems the brand intends to release similarly sized batteries in its upcoming smartphones.

Renowned leaker Digital Chat Station claimed HONOR will introduce more than 7,000mAh battery capacity for its flagship series, while the mid-range models will have 8,000mAh+ sizes.

If true, this will be a huge upgrade and beneficial for users who keep travelling and don't want the burden of experiencing low batteries.

Compared to its predecessor, the HONOR X60, which featured a 5,880mAh battery, the new models' reported 8,000mAh+ capacities represent a substantial increase, making it a big jump of more than 2,000mAh.

Meanwhile, current flagships like the Magic7 Series had 5,650mAh or 5,850mAh sizes which means that's equivalent to a 1,400mAh plus bump on the battery.

Aside from these claims, the tipster also said that future flagship devices will also sport up to 100W charging speeds.

At this time, it remains uncertain whether they will maintain the same concept for the global market.

What do you guys think?
