HONOR's powerful AI tablet

The new big screen device is positioned for productivity and creativity. The MagicPad 3 measures just 5.79mm in thickness and weighs 595 grams, making it one of the slimmest large-screen LCD tablets available.

The tablet features a 13.3-inch LCD screen with a 3.2K 3200 x 2136 resolution and a pixel density of 291 PPI. 

The display also supports a dynamic refresh rate of up to 165Hz, with seven adjustable levels including 144Hz, 120Hz, and 60Hz. 

It also offers a contrast ratio of 1500:1, a typical brightness of 700 nits, and a peak brightness of 1000 nits for HDR content. HONOR's Oasis Eye Protection Display technology is included, featuring low blue light emission, global DC dimming, and AI-powered modes to reduce eye strain.

Inside, the tablet uses a 3.4GHz 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset with Adreno GPU paired with 8GB/12GB/16GB RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB storage.

The device incorporates a 13-layer cooling system, known as the Honor Ice-Sealed technology, with a total heat dissipation area of 38,773mm². This system utilizes dual-direction vapor chambers and graphite for thermal management.

The tablet is backed by a 12,450mAh Qinghai Lake battery, supporting fast charging and offering up to 18 hours of offline video playback or 11 hours of video conferencing. HONOR's Dujiangyan AI Power Management System and E2 efficiency chip are included to optimize battery longevity, maintaining performance for over 1,000 days.

The MagicPad 3 has a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 13MP f/2.0 primary sensor and a 2MP f/2.4 macro sensor. On the front, a 9MP f/2.2 camera for video calls and selfies.

Meanwhile, HONOR claims the eight-speaker system delivers spatial audio with a total output exceeding 95W.

HONOR has also introduced a magnetic smart keyboard with 1.6mm key travel and a pressure-sensitive touchpad, as well as the Magic-Pencil 3 stylus, which supports ink restoration and smart handwriting input. 

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and support for high-quality audio codecs such as LDAC and aptX Adaptive.

It is equipped with dual high-performance Wi-Fi antennas for extended range and AI-assisted Wi-Fi aggregation to enhance network speeds. 

The tablet runs on MagicOS 9.0.1, based on Android 15, and includes AI-powered productivity tools such as smart PPT generation, voice-to-text transcription with speaker identification, and automated meeting summaries. 

Furthermore, it supports cross-platform collaboration with Android, iOS, and HarmonyOS devices, enabling seamless file transfers and app continuity.

The HONOR MagicPad 3 is currently available in China. No word yet for a PH release at the moment.
