A compact gaming tablet for Global players
The REDMAGIC Magic Astra has been unveiled as what the company claims is the industry’s first small-sized OLED gaming tablet, featuring high-end hardware and specialized gaming optimizations.
The tablet comes in two color options: Eclipse Black and Starfrost Silver, with a design tailored for gaming aesthetics.

It features a 9.06-inch OLED display with ultra-slim 4.9mm bezels, achieving a 90.1 percent screen-to-body ratio. The screen offers a 2400 x 1504 resolution, a 165Hz refresh rate, 5,280Hz PWM dimming, and a peak brightness of 1,600 nits. It also carries TÜV Rheinland certifications for low blue light and flicker-free performance.
Powered by a 4.32GHz 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite 8-core chip with an Adreno GPU, the tablet includes the Red Core R3 Pro co-processor for enhanced gaming performance. It supports up to 24GB of LPDDR5T RAM (9600Mbps) and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 Pro storage.
Thermal management is handled by the ICE 3.0 cooling system, which incorporates a sandwich VC structure, liquid metal 2.0, and an active turbo fan to sustain peak performance.
The device is equipped with an 8,200mAh battery supporting 80W USB-C fast charging, capable of reaching 50 percent charge in 22 minutes. It also includes bypass charging to reduce heat buildup during extended gaming sessions.
For imaging, the tablet features a 13MP rear camera and a 9MP front-facing camera, suitable for casual photography, video calls, and streaming.
Other notable features include a side fingerprint sensor, dual super-linear speakers, and dual X-axis linear motors for enhanced haptic feedback.
Connectivity options include WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
The tablet runs on REDMAGIC OS 10.5, with additional software enhancements such as the Cube Game Engine for performance optimization, a PC emulator for local PC gaming, the Super Workbench productivity suite, and the AI-powered Magic Companion 2.0 assistant.
