DJI Osmo 360 launched in PH: 1.1-inch CMOS sensor, 8K video, and 360-degree, PHP 24,990 starting price

DJI has introduced its first portable 360-degree camera with 8K recording and a large sensor.

The Osmo 360 is equipped with two 1.1-inch square sensors, designed to minimize blind spots and enhance low-light performance. 

It supports native 8K 360-degree video recording at up to 50fps, with a dynamic range of up to 13.5 stops. 

Ideal for on-the-go vlogging

There's also a flat video mode, allowing users to capture 4K footage at up to 120fps with a 170-degree ultra-wide FOV. Furthermore, the camera can also take 1.2 billion-pixel panoramic photos, equivalent to 16K resolution.

Among its highlights is the lightweight body, measuring just 183g. The device is also IP68-rated, making it waterproof up to 10 meters and resistant to temperatures as low as -20 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, the Osmo 360 includes an internal cooling system, allowing continuous 8K/30fps recording for up to 100 minutes and 6K panoramic video for up to 190 minutes. It supports 10-bit color and D-Log M for improved color grading flexibility.

IP68 rating

Storage options include 105GB of built-in space and a microSD card slot for expansion. The camera supports USB-C PD 3.0 fast charging and features a 1/4-inch thread mount, along with compatibility with DJI's magnetic quick-release system from the Osmo Action series.

For audio, the Osmo 360 has 4x microphones, supporting stereo and mono recording. It integrates DJI's OsmoAudio technology, enabling direct pairing with two DJI wireless microphone transmitters without a receiver. 

The camera also offers voice control, gesture commands, and Bluetooth headset connectivity for remote operation.

Additional features include multiple shooting modes, seamless lens switching in single-lens mode (up to 4K/60fps), and an invisible selfie stick function for 360-degree footage.
