HUAWEI Pura 80 Pro launched in PH: Large 1-inch 50MP main camera, 6.8-inch OLED, IP68/69 rating, PHP 59,999 SRP

After its APAC launch and pre-order details, the HUAWEI Pura 80 Pro 5G goes official in the Philippines.

To recall, the HUAWEI Pura 80 sports a sleek and stylish design and uses a glass material on the back. It is also available in three color options such as Glazed Red, Glazed White, and Glazed Black.

Furthermore, the phone comes with an IP68 and IP69 rating as solid protection against dust and water splashes.

It also measures slim at 8.3mm frame and weighs 219 grams.

The display

In front, the HUAWEI Pura 80 Pro is equipped with a 6.8-inch OLED panel with LTPO 1-120Hz refresh rate, 1.5K 2848 x 1276 resolution at 459 ppi, 300Hz touch sampling rate, 1440Hz PWM dimming, and protected by Kunlun-glass 2nd gen.

Inside, it uses a Kirin chip paired with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.

In terms of battery, the device uses a 5,170mAh battery and charges using USB-C 100W HUAWEI SuperCharge and 80W wireless SuperCharge.

The cameras

For cameras, the phone sports a large 50MP f/1.6 1-inch Ultra Lighting Camera with OIS + 40MP f/2.2 Ultra-Wide Angle Camera + 48MP f/2.1 Ultra Lighting Macro Telephoto Camera w/ OIS + 1.5 M Spectral Channels Ultra Chroma Camera + Dual LED Flash. In front, it has a 13MP f/2.0 wide-angle shooter.

Other features are an In-Display fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and dual SIM.

On the software side, the Pura 80 Pro runs EMUI 15.0 out of the box.
