Both phones boast a dashing Iridescent Mermaid Design featuring a colorful Mermaid Core pattern at the rear.

The said intricate technology was achieved thanks to the ultra-high precision Iridescent Glow Process, which involves 5 rounds of micron-level pattern coating with up to 12 years, thus resulting in a unique rear finish.
OPPO also boasts its Aerospace-grade aluminum frame with a 200 percent increase in strength and improved drop resistance by 36 percent, giving you some breath of relief in case of accidental falls.
Furthermore, the device also sports a triple IP rating of IP66/68/69 for dust and water resistance. This means it can survive dirt and casual pool dips for a certain period.
In front, the Reno14 5G uses a 6.59-inch AMOLED panel with 2760 x 1256 resolution at 460 ppi, 120Hz refresh rate, 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, 1200 nits peak brightness, and HDR10+ certification.

The Reno 14 F 5G uses a 6.57-inch AMOLED screen with FHD+ 2372 x 1080 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
Inside, the phone is powered by a 4nm 3.35GHz 4nm Dimensity 8350 8-core chip with Mali-G615 MC6 GPU, 12GB RAM, 256GB/512GB UFS 3.1 storage options, and a 6,000mAh battery with USB-C 80W SUPERVOOC.
On the other hand, the Reno 14F 5G is powered by a 2.2GHz 4nm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 8-core chip with Adreno GPU, 8GB/12GB RAM, and a single 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
The processors are also being cooled using the Nano Dual-Drive Cooling Architecture + AI HyperBoos 2.0, ensuring the phones will maintain a low temperature during long gaming sessions.
For cameras, the base Reno 14 5G uses a 50MP Sony IMX882 main shooter coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide. This base 5G model also received a 50MP Samsung JN5 3.5x telephoto sensor, which was not present in previous generations.
For selfies, it uses a 50MP f/2.0 Samsung JN5 as well.
The Reno 14F 5G also packs the same 50MP main shooter and 8MP ultra-wide unit. Although the 3rd module was replaced with a 2MP macro sensor
Other features mentioned are stereo speakers, 3x microphones (Reno14) or 2x microphones (Reno14 F), and an X-axis linear motor for immersive vibration.
Both devices also share the same AI productivity features, such as AI Mind Space, Call Assistant, VoiceScribe, Translate, Google Gemini Connected apps, and O+ connect.
They also feature the same AI Gaming enhancement, such as game highlights, game capture, and Footstep Sound Boost.
Connectivity features are WiFi 6 (2.4GHz/5GHz), 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.1 or 5.4, GPS, NFC, and dual SIM.
For OS, both devices run Android 15 with ColorOS 15.0 out of the box.
