Samsung Galaxy A07 launched: 6.7-inch HD+ screen + Helio G99 + 6 years software updates

Samsung introduces a new entry-level phone in the form of the Galaxy A07.

The three colors

Budget phone with up to 6 years of updates

The device arrived with a Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer material on the rear for its durability and is available in Green, Light Violet, and Black colorways. Additionally, the Galaxy A07 comes with an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.

In front, the phone packs a 6.7-inch LCD (IPS) screen with HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate.

The display

Inside, it is powered by a 2.2GHz 6nm Helio G99 octa-core chip with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, 4GB/8GB RAM, and 64GB/256GB storage options.

It also packs a 5,000mAh battery with USB-C 25W fast charging support.

While the camera uses a 50MP main shooter and an 8MP on the front for selfies.

Other features are a side-mounted fingerprint reader and Samsung Knox Vault for security.

Connectivity features are WiFi, 4G, Bluetooth, GPS, and dual SIM.

For OS, the phone runs Android 15 with One UI 7. Samsung also promises up to 6 years of software updates and security patches.

Indonesia price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

Samsung Galaxy A07 4GB/64GB - IDR 1,399,000 (around PHP 4.8K)

Samsung Galaxy A07 8GB/256GB - IDR 2,299,000 (around PHP 8K)

The phone is currently available in Indonesia. There's no word yet on availability in other countries at the moment.
