Two new affordable phones with sleek designs and an OIS-ready primary camera
Upon checking, details about it are not yet up on its official local website, but the phones are now listed on their official Lazada and Shopee stores online.

The Samsung Galaxy A17 LTE highlights a slim body in Gray or Black colorways and a Gorilla Glass Victus-protected 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, FHD+ 2340 x 1080 resolution, and a top-center notch for the 13MP selfie camera.

Inside, it is powered by the 6nm Helio G99 octa-core processor with up to 2.2GHz clock speed. It is paired with 4GB RAM, 128GB expandable storage up to 2TB, and a 5,000mAh battery with USB-C 25W fast charging.
Samsung claims that with its charger, the battery could be charged up to 50 percent in just 30 minutes.
For the cameras, this is one of the most affordable with a 50MP main shooter with OIS (optical image stabilization) for less shaky photos and videos. It is paired with a 5MP ultra-wide shooter and a 2MP macro camera.
The Galaxy A17 LTE also arrived with a side-mounted fingerprint reader, dual-band WiFi, 4G LTE, NFC, and dual SIM slots.
The handset runs on Android 15 with One UI skin with plenty of AI experiences like Gemini and Circle to Search.
The best part, the phone comes with 6 years of major OS and security updates. The last update is until August 31, 2031.
