vivo G3 launched: 6.74-inch LCD, Dimensity 6300, and 6,000mAh battery

The vivo G3 was introduced as the brand's newest entry-level device with a big battery.

The latest from vivo's G Series

The phone sports a traditional vivo design with rounded corners, a rectangular camera island, and a plain Black colorway at the back.

In front, it uses a 6.74-inch LCD (IPS) screen with HD+ 1600 x 720 resolution and 90Hz refresh rate.

Inside, the phone is equipped with a 2.4GHz MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage.

The vivo G3 is also equipped with a large 6,000mAh battery capacity and a USB-C 44W fast charging adaptor.

The cameras

For cameras, the device has a 13MP rear shooter and uses a 5MP selfie camera.

Other features noted are the side-mounted fingerprint scanner, which also doubles as a power button. There's also a 3.5mm jack so you can listen to music with your wired earphones.

Connectivity options are WiFi, 5G, 4G, Bluetooth 5.3, and GPS and dual SIM.

For OS, the phone runs on Android 15 with OriginOS 5.0 out of the box.

China price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

vivo G3 6GB/128GB - CNY 1,499 (around PHP 11.8K)

vivo G3 8GB/256GB - CNY 1,999 (around PHP 15.8K)

It is currently available only in China. vivo did not say if it will be sold in other countries.
