ICYMI: REDMI 15C 5G launched with Dimensity 6300, 50MP camera, IP64 rating

After the REDMI 15C 4G, Xiaomi also introduced a 5G edition.

The phone's design

A 5G model was introduced

The device follows the same design as the 4G model but is offered in Purple, Green, and Black color options. It also has an IP64 dust and water resistance for protection against unwanted dirt and splashes.

In front, the phone features a large 6.9-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The display and cameras

Inside, it is powered by the 2.4GHz Dimensity 6300 chip with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It is paired with 4GB RAM and is available in 128GB or 256GB storage options.

Power is supplied by a 6,000mAh battery that supports  33W wired charging, though a charger is not included in the box. 

The camera system consists of a 50MP main sensor on the rear and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera housed in a notch.

Other features noted are a side-mounted fingerprint reader and a 3.5mm headphone jack. 

Connectivity features are WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz), 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, GLONASS, and NFC (market dependent).

For OS, it runs on Android 15 with HyperOS 2 out of the box.

Euro price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

REDMI 15C 5G 128GB - EUR 180 (around PHP 12.2K)

REDMI 15C 5G 256GB - EUR 200 (around PHP 13.5K)

The budget phone is currently available in multiple European countries. No word yet on a PH availability,
