Xiaomi Pad 8 Series to launch on September 25

Apart from the Xiaomi 17 Series, the brand will also introduce its next generation of tablets on the same day.

Xiaomi noted that the new tablets will debut on September 25 as well. The brand's PR director noted fans should expect improved display technology along with a smoother ecosystem with the HyperConnect platform.

Both versions are going to have a sleek 5.75mm profile and weigh around 485 grams.

Reports suggest the tablets will feature 144Hz 3.2K resolution at 345 ppi and an LCD panel with 800 nits of max brightness. It is also rumored to have full DC dimming and TUV Rheinland triple eye protection certifications as well.

Furthermore, Xiaomi mentioned it will feature nano soft-light screen technology to minimize glare on longer usage.

Meanwhile, reports suggest the base model will sport a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip while the Pro variant will have a more powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chip.

The devices are also expected to use up to 9,200mAh batteries with 45W or 67W fast charging, depending on the model.

Finally, the series is also going to support Xiaomi Focus Pen Pro for precise writing or drawing, as well as a floating style keyboard for productivity.
