With a bigger 7,000mAh battery?

HONOR's flagship phone, the Magic8 Pro, has been showcased in a new white color option in images leaked on the Chinese social media platform Weibo. 

The images reveal a large circular camera module labeled "AiMAGE," which contains a triple-camera system and an LED flash.

The flash appears to have been repositioned from the top to the bottom of the module compared to previous designs. In addition to white, the phone is also expected to be available in Black, Gold, and Blue.

The Magic8 Pro is anticipated to feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, with reports indicating approximately 20 percent improved CPU performance and a 23 percent GPU increase over the Snapdragon 8 Elite. 

The device may offer configurations with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, alongside HONOR's proprietary RF and energy-efficiency chips for enhanced signal reception and power management.

The camera system is reported to include a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens capable of 3.7x optical zoom.

The phone is also expected to use a 7,000mAh battery supporting 120W wired charging. It will run on HONOR's implementation of Android 16, which introduces new AI-driven capabilities and enhanced multitasking performance.

With these upgraded specifications, the Magic8 Pro is positioned to compete in the premium smartphone segment against devices such as the Xiaomi 17 Pro and Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra.
