Tech firm vivo recently launched the Y21d in the Philippines, a budget phone promising "premium features" starting at just PHP 6,999.

According to the company, the device has features rarely seen at this price point.

Key features of the vivo Y21d

First, the vivo Y21d offers a fairly large 6,500mAh battery capable of delivering up to 43.2 hours of watching TV Series continuously, with 3 percent left in the tank after, up to 19 hours of nonstop TikTok, and up to 63 hours of music playback. According to vivo, this battery is designed for long-term reliability of up to 5 years.

The device also has USB-C 44W FlashCharge support that can give up to 3 hours of video playback in just 10 minutes of charging. It can also charge the device from 1 to 40 percent in just 30 minutes.

It comes with tough build and strong water resistance

Second, vivo claims that the handset is also designed to last thanks to its tough build. It comes with IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance, SGS Five-Star Drop Resistance Certification, and Military-Grade Shock Resistance. The colors available are Lavender Purple and Glowing Black. 

In addition, the phone is equipped with a stereo speaker setup with up to 400 percent volume, making it good for playing music, watching movies, and gaming. Its 6.68-inch LCD 90Hz HD+ screen with Wet-Hand Touch Technology also has up to 1,000 nits of peak brightness, making it usable even outdoors.

Content creators may also love its 50MP Main Camera capable of Underwater Photography, thanks to the above-mentioned level of water resistance. Moreover, it comes with One-Tap Water Ejection.

The company also highlights that it has Circle To Search with Google and Helmet-On Face Unlock for riders.
