Leading global smart devices provider HONOR Philippines has announced the upcoming launch of its next X Series smartphone this October, highlighting upgraded durability aimed at addressing water resistance.

Following the back-to-back success of our HONOR X Series smartphones, we have continuously pushed the boundaries of innovation. This time, we are proud to introduce a top-notch, all-angle water-resistant smartphone that Filipino consumers can truly relate to, said Mr. Stephen Cheng, Vice President of HONOR Philippines. This new device is set to elevate the lifestyle of Filipinos, addressing one of the biggest concerns of smartphone users today—water damage.

The global brand, which focuses on AI for human-to-device interactions, also stated the new X Series model will feature a practical AI Button. A single press can launch a customized app, clear background processes, or boost performance. A long press activates functions such as AI Translation and AI Creation.

Judging from its brief details, the upcoming device could be the rumored HONOR X7d, which features an IP65 dust and water resistance rating. Additionally, it also has a dedicated AI button for quick launching of apps.
