Canon Marketing Philippines officially introduced the new EOS R6 Mark III and the new RF 45mm f/1.2 STM in the Philippines.

Competitive and Performative?

The new EOS R6 Mark III features a new 32.5MP full-frame stacked CMOS Sensor with 8.5 stops of IBIS. It is capable of taking 40fps stills with the electronic shutter when using the pre-continuous shooting. It utilizes Dual-Pixel CMOS AF II for improved subject detection and registered People priority.

The Mark III can record up to 3:2 7K at 60fps Open Gate recording to Canon Log 2 and up to 4K 120fps slow-motion.

The camera records the files into the CFExpress Type B and UHS-II SD Card slots. It connects to other devices via USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, HDMI Type-A, 3.5mm audio jack, E3 remote, and the Multi-Function shoe.

Powering the camera is the new 2,130mAh LP-E6P Li-ion battery that is rated for up to 390 shots when using the EVF.

The weather-sealed body weighs 699 grams and comes with a 3-inch fully articulating touch screen.

It supports waveforms and false color.

The new RF 45mm f/1.2 STM lens features a fast f/1.2 maximum aperture with 9 rounded aperture blades. It uses Canon's fast and quiet gear-type STM autofocus system. It uses a compact optical formula consisting of 9 elements in 7 groups. It includes 1 Precision Molded Aspherical element.
