Globe Telecom (PSE: GLO) has announced a multi-year agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to modernize its telecommunications and digital services.

The partnership is focused on several key initiatives, according to the companies:
- Cloud Infrastructure Modernization: Globe will expand its cloud infrastructure, with investments aimed at improving disaster recovery and platform engineering to enhance network resiliency.
- Enhanced Customer Experience: The company plans to modernize its business-to-business systems and digital platforms, including adding new features for its GOMO brand and implementing more advanced consent management systems.
- Network Innovation: The collaboration will involve transforming Globe's network management systems and developing new solutions for SIM activation and porting.
- Real-time Operations: The agreement will enable real-time campaign management and data streaming, which Globe states will improve its ability to deliver targeted offerings to customers.
- Customer Experience AI-Led Transformation: Globe will invest in AI-powered solutions for customer management, including the development of a customer voicebot.
The agreement builds on Globe's existing use of cloud technologies to modernize its network and improve data security.
