realme C85 Series launched: 7,000mAh batteries, IP69 rating, and up to 144Hz displays

The realme C85 Series was introduced with a large battery capacity and durable features for daily wear and tear.

The 4G model

Entry-level with big batteries

The series comprises a C85 Pro and a C85 5G model. The phones share a similar design profile, with the C85 Pro measuring 164.4 x 77.99 x 8.09mm and weighing 205 grams. The C85 5G is slightly thicker at 8.38mm and weighs 215 grams. Both carry an IP69 Pro rating for water resistance.

The realme C85 Pro features a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, achieving a peak brightness of 4,000 nits. The C85 5G is equipped with a 6.8-inch LCD screen that has an HD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.

The C85 Pro is powered by the 2.8GHz 6nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 8-core chip with Adreno 610 GPU, making it a 4G-only device. 

The 5G edition

The C85 5G utilizes the 2.4GHz 6nmMediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset for 5G connectivity. Both models offer up to 8GB of RAM, expandable virtually to 24GB, and up to 256GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded via a microSD card.

Another highlight for both devices is that they are equipped with a 7,000mAh battery that supports USB-C 45W fast charging.

For photography, both phones feature a 50MP main rear camera and an 8MP front camera.

Connectivity options include WiFi 5, 5G (5G model only), 4G (Pro only), GPS, NFC, and dual SIM support. The C85 Pro features Bluetooth 5.0, while the C85 5G uses Bluetooth 5.3.

The devices run on realme UI 6.0, which is based on the Android 15 operating system.
