The next mobile camera contender to beat?

vivo has introduced the global edition of its X300 Pro smartphone, targeting photography enthusiasts and performance seekers with a blend of advanced hardware and imaging capabilities.

The Vivo X300 Pro Global Edition arrives in a sleek, professional design with a flat-edged aluminum frame that measures 164.2 x 76.3 x 8.3mm and weighs approximately 225 grams. It features an IP68 and IP69 rating for dust and water resistance, ensuring durability in various conditions, including wet-hand touch functionality.

Color options include Celestial Black, Pearl White, and a new India-exclusive Red variant, offering a matte finish with a subtle Zeiss-branded camera module for an elegant, camera-inspired aesthetic.
The design

In front, the device sports a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels and up to 120Hz for smooth visuals and energy efficiency.

The panel also achieves a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, making it visible in direct sunlight, while 2160Hz PWM dimming and Circular Polarizer 2.0 technology provide eye comfort across all lighting levels. Protected by Armor Glass, the screen supports HDR10+ for vibrant media playback.

Inside, the vivo X300 Pro Global Edition is powered by the 4.21GHz 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9500 8-core chipset with Arm G1-Ultra GPU.
The features

It is paired with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage, a 5,440mAh battery, 90W USB-C FlashCharge, and 40W wireless charging support.

The camera system stands out as a highlight, co-engineered with ZEISS for professional-grade results.

The rear triple setup includes a 50MP Sony LYT-828 main sensor with a 1/1.28-inch size, f/1.57 aperture, and gimbal optical image stabilization for steady shots + 50MP ultra-wide lens with autofocus for expansive scenes + 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HPB periscope telephoto with 3.5x optical zoom, 85mm focal length, and ZEISS T* coating to reduce flare capable of 20x hybrid digital zoom and telemacro.

vivo also added the V3+ imaging chip, which enhances processing for natural colors and 10-bit Log video recording.  On the front, a 50MP autofocus selfie camera handles portraits with bokeh effects.

An optional ZEISS Telephoto Extender Kit adds a 2.35x lens and physical controls for a more camera-like experience.

Additional features emphasize versatility, including stereo speakers for immersive audio, an in-display fingerprint sensor for secure unlocking, and AI-driven tools like smart cropping for social media edits and EasyShare for seamless file transfers to iOS devices. The phone also supports satellite messaging via Beidou in compatible regions for emergency communication.

Connectivity options cover dual SIM 5G across major global bands, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC for contactless payments, and USB Type-C with DisplayPort output. GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo ensure precise navigation.
