First Ford EV in the country
The new Mustang Mach-E delivers the Mustang spirit and performance in a zero-emission package. In the Philippines, Ford is offering the All-Wheel Drive Extended Range variant.
Ford claims that it takes full advantage of the performance-enhancing weight distribution and torque delivery of an all-electric powertrain. It is powered by a dual permanent magnet synchronous motor that drives all four wheels, producing 290kW (394ps) and 676Nm of torque. This AWD configuration provides palpably strong acceleration and quick response, whether it is on city streets or on open highways.

Powering the car is the 88kWh extended-range lithium-ion NCM battery, which should deliver up to 550 kilometers of range (WLTP). Charging options include both Type 2 (AC) and CCS2 (DC) ports, with support for AC charging up to 11kW and DC fast charging up to 150kW. A compatible home wall charger can replenish the battery overnight, while a 150kW DC Charger can bring it from 10 percent to 80 percent in about 36 to 45 minutes.
Three drive modes:
The car offers three selectable drive modes that are advertised to tailor the experience to conditions and preferences.
1. Whisper Mode softens steering and throttle response for a smoother and more composed ride.
2. Engage Mode balances comfort and performance for everyday use.
3. Unbridle Mode sharpens handling and acceleration for a more dynamic drive.

It also comes with the 1-Pedal Drive system, which allows the driver to accelerate and decelerate using only the accelerator pedal. Lifting off the pedal activates regenerative braking, which slows the vehicle and recovers the energy for the battery. This feature supposedly reduces brake use, improves efficiency, and enhances control, especially in stop-and-go traffic.
The Mustang Mach-E retains the fastback silhouette and tri-bar tail lamps that define the Mustang's Identity. On top is the panoramic glass roof, which opens up the cabin, while the E-latch door system replaces the conventional handles for a cleaner look and better aerodynamics. When the vehicle detects the driver, pressing the B-pillar button releases the door, which opens slightly for easy access via a small aerodynamic hook.
Inside the cabin are the ActiveX synthetic leather seats with 10-way power adjustment for both driver and front passenger. Heated front seats, dual-zone electronic automatic temperature control, and rear air vents keep the cabin comfortable in all conditions.

The rear compartment has a load space of 402 liters that can be expanded to 1,420 liters by folding the rear seats. This is complemented by the front trunk's 80 liters of storage.
The Mustang Mach-E comes with the FordPass Connect, which allows owners to manage their Mach-E from their mobile device.
For safety, the Mustang Mach-E is equipped with nine airbags that cover the driver, passenger, front center, front side, rear side, and curtain positions. It comes with a 360-degree camera with split view improves visibility for parking and low-speed maneuvers.
