Will it be able to compete with the giants?

Samsung has officially announced the upcoming launch of its next-generation mobile processor, the Exynos 2600, following extensive online speculation. The chipset is slated for release ahead of the Galaxy S26 series.

Although there's a rumor suggesting that there's a high chance that the upcoming Samsung chip could be a South Korea exclusive. Global variants will retain the usual Snapdragon chip, just like the previous generations.

The company released a brief promotional video for the chip, which opens with the text "in silence, we listened." The video then highlights features described as "refined at the core" and "optimized at every level."

Industry reports indicate the Exynos 2600 will be among the first smartphone chipsets manufactured on a groundbreaking 2-nanometer process.

Preliminary performance benchmarks suggest it will compete with other flagship processors expected in 2025, such as Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.

What do you guys think?
