The battle of Tri-Folds has begun?
This marks Samsung's most ambitious and latest technological advancement, challenging the likes of HUAWEI after a year of anticipation.
The new Tri-Fold boasts an inward-folding design, which enables the device to fold twice like a wing. It also features Armor FlexHinge for smooth, stable operation and provides minimal gaps.
It measures 159.2 x 75 x 12.9mm in its folded state, while it has 159.2 x 214.1 x 3.9 mm in unfolded mode.

Additionally, the phone uses a Titanium hinge housing, an advanced Armor Aluminum frame, a ceramic-glass fiber-reinforced polymer back, and is protected by Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 cover.
Furthermore, Samsung adds IP48 water resistance to protect it from unwanted splashes.
It's main display features up to 120Hz 10-inch QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X with 2160 x 1584 resolution, 269 ppi, 21:9 aspect ratio, and 1,600 nits peak brightness.
Meanwhile, the cover display allows users to operate just like a traditional smartphone with its 6.5-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X with 2520 x 1080 resolution, 21:9 aspect ratio, 2600 peak brightness, and 120Hz adaptive refresh rate.
Inside the Tri-Fold is a 4.32GHz 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset with Adreno GPU, 16GB RAM, and 512GB or 1TB storage.
The battery has a 5,600mAh capacity with a 45W USB-C fast charger, 15W wireless charging support, and power share.
Camera-wise, the phone uses a 200MP wide-angle main shooter with OIS and 2x optical zoom + 12MP ultra-wide + 10MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom and up to 30x digital zoom assisted by AI.

Moving forward, phones like this are designed for mobile productivity, so Samsung has added its iconic DeX feature for a desktop-like experience on the go. This allows users to work across up to four workspaces, each with five apps, and supports external monitors and Bluetooth peripherals.
The brand also brought its Galaxy AI integrations, such as Browsing Assist for summaries/translations, Gemini Live for multimodal interactions.
It also comes with a 6-month Google AI Pro trial with video generation using Veo3 and 2TB cloud storage.
There's also an auto alarm notification just in case users have done incorrect folding, and it has optimized apps like Samsung Health, My Files for large screen and app viewing.
