REDMAGIC introduced a Golden Saga edition for its current flagship smartphone with specialized cooling.

Better cooling with gold?

These devices are called the Red Magic 11 Pro+ Golden Saga smartphone and the Red Magic Gaming Tablet 3 Pro Golden Saga Limited Edition. 

The design of the smartphone is defined by automotive and aerospace materials, including a supercar carbon fiber build, an aerospace-grade sapphire glass back panel, and a mirror-finish silver frame. 

Gold-plated liquid cooling at the rear

The golden aesthetic extends to internal structural and cooling components, such as a gold-plated vapor chamber and air ducts, as well as to exterior details like the power button, branding, and the included SIM tool. It will be packaged in a special collector's edition gift box.

It still packs the same hardware, such as the 6.8-inch OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate and 2,160Hz PWM dimming technology.

For processor and memory, it is equipped with the 4.6GHz 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with 24GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. Thermal management is handled by the ICE Magic Cooling System, which incorporates a Wind Chaser 4.0 active cooling fan.

The battery and charging system consists of a 6,500mAh cell supporting 165W wired fast charging.

On the camera front, the phone utilizes a 50MP primary sensor + 50MP ultra-wide and 16MP selfie camera.

Other features include an under-display fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

In terms of connectivity, it supports WiFi 7, 5G, 4G, and Bluetooth.

The device will launch running Red Magic OS 14, based on Android 16.

Aside from the smartphone,  the brand also introduced a Golden Saga Edition for its REDMAGIC Gaming Tablet. 

Similarly, it also adopts a matching luxury design with gold accents on its rear logo, a dedicated magic key, and the camera module ring.

The tablet's display is a 9.06-inch OLED panel with a 165Hz refresh rate, a claimed sub-1ms response time, and 4.9mm bezels for a 90.1 percent screen-to-body ratio. It boasts a peak brightness of 1,600 nits, a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, 5,280Hz PWM dimming, and TÜV Rheinland certification.
