OPPO K14x launched: Dimensity 6300, 6,500mAh battery, and 50MP camera

OPPO has launched the K14x 5G in India, positioning it as an entry-level model within its upcoming K-series lineup.

The smartphone is aimed at students, early career professionals, gamers, and value-conscious users, emphasizing battery life, daily performance, and durability.

It is available in two color options, namely Prism Violet and Icy Blue. Furthermore, it has an IP64 dust and water resistance rating.

The device features a 6.74-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a high brightness mode of up to 1,125 nits for improved outdoor visibility.

The cameras

It is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, paired with up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of internal storage. 

The phone is also powered by a 6,500mAh battery supporting 45W fast charging.

For photography, the rear camera system includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel monochrome lens, while the front houses a 5-megapixel selfie camera.

Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Connectivity options consist of WiFi 5, 5G, 4G, Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-C, dual SIM support, and 5G.

The phone runs ColorOS 15.0 based on Android 15, though its software update policy has not been detailed.

The phone is currently available in India. There's no word yet for a PH release at the moment.
