Telecommunications company DITO Telecommunity has announced it is providing free call services to assist Overseas Filipino Workers and their families in staying connected amid the ongoing conflict in parts of the Middle East.

The initiative aligns with the Philippine government's efforts to maintain communication links for Filipinos abroad and their relatives during periods of crisis.

Alberto, President and Chief Executive Officer of DITO Telecommunity. “We stand with the Philippine government in supporting and protecting our kababayans abroad. DITO remains committed to weaving Filipino communities together wherever they may be through reliable connectivity.

From March 9 to 13, 2026, DITO subscribers currently roaming in select Middle Eastern countries will receive a one-time allocation of up to five minutes of free incoming calls from DITO numbers based in the Philippines. Standard roaming rates will apply once the free five-minute allocation has been used.

The offer applies to Filipinos in Bahrain, Kuwait, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, and Lebanon
