Nothing Phone (4a) Pro launched: Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, 50MP Sony LYT-700C main camera

After many teasers, the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro goes official at the MWC 2026.

New design, faster performance

The new device brings new color designs. Unlike traditional Nothing phones with monochrome options. This model came with Silver, Black, and Pink colorways. The latter being the highlight with its refreshing aesthetics.

Additionally, the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro uses IP65 dust and water resistance rating.

It also boasts a Glyph Bar with 63 mini-LEDs in seven square light zones. Additionally, it delivers up to 3,500 nits max brightness making it 40 percent brighter over the predecessor.

The features

In front, the phone uses 6.83-inch AMOLED panel with 1.5K 2800 x 1260 resolution at 440 ppi, 120Hz refresh rate, 4,500 nits peak brightness, and is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i.

Inside, the device uses a 2.6GHz 4nm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 octa-core processor with Adreno GPU.

It also sports 8GB or 12GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage options.

For battery, it uses a 5,080mAh battery however the Indian variant gets a higher 5,400mAh. It is supported with 50W USB-C wired charging.

The cameras

For cameras, the phone uses a 50MP Sony LYT-700C main camera with f/1.88 aperture and OIS. It is partnered with 50MP JN5 3.5x telephoto with OIS (up to 70x ultra-zoom) and 8MP Sony IMX355 ultra-wide snapper.

Other features are stereo speakers and improved VC cooling.

Connectivity features are WiFi 6, 5G, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, and dual SIM.

For OS, the phone runs Android 16 with Nothing OS 4.1, up to 3 major Android upgrades.
