| The phone's design |
The design includes a flat back with no camera bump and rounded corners. It also has RGB lighting for gamer vibes, while it is available in Yellow, Gray, and White colorways.
Furthermore, it has an IP64 rating in most of the body, while the vents are rated at IP54 protection.

As its main highlight, the nubia Neo 5 GT features a built-in active cooling fan, a feature not commonly found in its category.
On top of that, there's a 29,508mm² cooling area and a Through-Flow Duct Design intended to direct airflow over the CPU and battery, helping to manage heat and maintain stable frame rates during extended gaming sessions.

In front, the phone is equipped with a 6.8-inch AMOLED display, 144Hz refresh rate, and 1.5K 2720 x 1224 resolution at 439 ppi, 4,500 nits peak brightness, with SGS-certified Eye Care features to reduce eye strain.
Inside, it is powered by the 2.6GHz 4nm MediaTek D7400 octa-core processor with Mali-G615 MC2 GPU. It is paired with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM rated 6400Mbps + 12GB virtual RAM and 512GB storage.
It also uses a 6,210mAh dual-cell battery, which charges using an 80W adaptor. The 5 percent Extreme Mode provides up to 23 minutes of gaming or 29 hours of standby, and bypass charging allows the device to be powered directly during gaming without charging the battery.
The camera system consists of a 50MP AI triple rear camera and a 16MP front camera. Additional AI features include AI Memory, AI Scam Alert, AI Image and Text Generation, and AI Translate.
Other features noted are stereo speakers with DTS:X Ultra, an X-Axis linear motor for immersive vibration.

Another highlight is the 550Hz Neo Triggers 5.0 for four-finger control, with sub-5.5ms latency and a 3049Hz touch sampling rate. Magic Touch 3.0 is designed to keep the screen responsive under conditions such as wet or sweaty fingers.
Connectivity features are WiFi 6 (2.4/5GHz/6GHz), 5G, 4G, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, and dual SIM.

nubia also added a 360° Game Antenna, which aims to maintain connectivity regardless of how the device is held.
For OS, the phone runs on Android 16 with MyOS skin on top.
Finally, the software is aided with AI Game Space 5.0, which centralizes performance controls, while AI Copilot Demi 2.0 includes a Gaming Coach, Gaming Chatbot, and an auto-chat reply feature.
