Precise and responsive control?

The Ace 6 Ultra and its companion controller are being marketed as an integrated system tailored for shooter games.

If used alone, the phone operates as a standard high-performance handset. When paired with the controller, it takes on a handheld console-style form factor intended to enhance precision and user comfort during gameplay.

The controller features an ergonomic grip designed to ease extended gaming sessions and reduce finger coverage of the screen — a common issue during fast-paced play.

It also introduces four physical buttons, expanding input options beyond the typical two-finger touch method. The hybrid control scheme combines touch gestures with physical triggers to allow simultaneous actions such as aiming, movement, and firing.

OnePlus states the controller supports a 1000Hz polling rate with low-latency response, aimed at improving in-game reaction times. The company also says the setup is intended to make advanced multi-finger controls more accessible to casual players.

The Ace 6 Ultra is expected to be powered by a Dimensity 9500 chipset and feature a 6.83-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and 165Hz refresh rate.

The device is also reported to carry an 8,600mAh battery, reflecting the brand's focus on endurance for long gaming sessions.

As with its predecessors, the Ace 6 Ultra is expected to remain exclusive to the Chinese market.
