TECNO Pop X launched: Dimensity 6400, 6,500mAh battery, 13MP rear camera

TECNO Pop X goes official in India, bringing 5G connectivity at an entry-level price point.

The design and display

Pixel-like design with a big battery

The Tecno POP X 5G features an IP64 Pro-rated body, offering a degree of dust and water resistance. 

In front, it sports a 6.78-inch LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1576 x 720 HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 560 nits peak brightness.

Under the hood, the Tecno POP X 5G is powered by the 2.4GHz 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6400 SoC with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. 

Battery and camera

It is available in two memory configurations: 4GB and 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage.

The handset is also backed by a 6,500mAh battery with support for USB-C 45W wired fast charging.

On the imaging front, the Tecno POP X 5G features a single rear camera housing a 13MP primary sensor + dual LED flash. For selfies, the device is equipped with an 8MP front camera, also paired with a flash.

Additional features on the device include a single speaker, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security.

Connectivity options include WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz), 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, GPS, 

OS.

The device runs on HiOS 16, based on Android 16.

The smartphone will be exclusively available for purchase through Amazon India. No word yet for other markets as of this writing.
