OPPO A6s 5G pre-orders begin in the Philippines

OPPO expands its popular A series in the Philippines with the new OPPO A6s 5G.

The device measures 166.61 x 78.51 x 8.61 mm and weighs 216 grams. It is IP69 dust and water-resistant. This means it can handle up to 80 degrees Celsius hot water and be immersed in water for up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. It is available in either Cappuccino Brown or Ice White.

In front is the 6.75-inch LCD screen with a 1,125 nits peak brightness, a 1,570 x 720 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate.

Inside is the MediaTek 6300 octa-core processor and an ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, that are both cooled by a 3,900mm² vapor chamber. Alongside are the 6GB/8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 2.2 internal storage.

Powering the phone is the 7,000mAh battery that OPPO claims is built to last and retain box-fresh performance even after 5 years. It charges via an 80W SUPERVOOC flash charge. OPPO says that it takes 64 minutes to fully charge the phone.

At the back of the phone are the 50MP f/1.8 main camera and a 2MP f/2.4 monochrome camera with an LED flash. While in front is the 16MP f/2.4 selfie camera.

Other features include 5G, 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, Beidou, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, NFC, and 3.5mm audio jack.

Running the show is ColorOS 15, based on Android 15, including AI features.
