OPPO A6s 5G launched: Dimensity 6300, IP69 rating, and 7,000mAh battery

OPPO adds another variant for the A6 series, this time it's called the A6s 5G.

The device will be available in Cappuccino Brown and Ice White color variants. It also caries IP69 dust and water resistance rating for stronger protection against dirt or water.

Furthermore, it measures at 166.6 x 78.51 x 8.61mm, with a weight of approximately 216 grams.

It features a 6.75-inch LCD display with an HD+ resolution of 1570 by 720 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of up to 1125 nits in high brightness mode. 

Powering the device is a 2.4GHz MediaTek Dimensity 6300 octa-core processor with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. Memory configurations include 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB of storage. 

The phone incorporates a 3900mm² vapour chamber cooling system.

Its battery capacity is listed at 7,000mAh with USB-C 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging.

For photography, the rear camera system consists of a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP monochrome sensor. 

The front-facing camera is 16MP. Both front and rear cameras support 1080p video recording, with the rear capable of 60 frames per second and the front at 30 frames per second. 

Available shooting modes include Night, Portrait, Pro, Underwater, and Document Scanner, along with features like slow-motion, time-lapse, and dual-view video.

Other features are a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, and a 3900mm² vapour chamber cooling system.

Connectivity options are WiFi 5 (2.4GHz/5GHz), 5G, 4G, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC (region-based)

Finally, it runs on Android 15 with ColorOS 15 skin on top.

Unfortunately, price and availability are not yet available, but you may view the listing at the official OPPO website. It's unclear when OPPO release it in the Philippines.
