Three-tier line-up for different needs

Technology brand DREAME AURORA made its international debut at a recent event, unveiling three new product lines: the AURORA NEX, a modular imaging smartphone; the AURORA LUX, a luxury-tier series; and a new flagship lineup

The launches are positioned to cover a range of market segments, from technology-focused consumers to premium buyers.

In remarks at the event, company representatives said they believe competition in the smartphone industry has shifted away from raw hardware specifications and toward what they described as a "perception revolution" — prioritizing richer media capture, more reliable connectivity, and deeper artificial intelligence integration.

Furthermore, the brand outlined three guiding values for its product direction: higher-fidelity recording, seamless connectivity across environments, and unobtrusive, adaptive intelligence.

The company said its engineering approach targets several persistent industry challenges, including camera systems that rely heavily on hardware additions rather than computational improvements, inconsistent wireless connectivity, and AI features that require users to adjust their behavior to suit devices.

To address these, DREAME AURORA said it assembled a dedicated imaging team and collaborated with professional photographers to move mobile photography beyond simple point-and-shoot functionality.

On the connectivity side, the brand claims its signal management solution maintains stable performance across varied usage conditions. Its operating system, described as AI-native, is designed to anticipate user needs rather than waiting for manual input.

On the product side, the AURORA NEX adopts a modular hardware architecture intended to support professional-grade photography across different scenarios.

The AURORA LUX targets the luxury segment, emphasizing precise craftsmanship and premium materials. The third product, the standard flagship, is aimed at high-end mainstream users seeking a balance between performance and design.

With the Silicon Valley event serving as its formal global launch, DREAME AURORA indicated it plans to continue expanding its international presence.

Company officials said future development will focus on advancing its core technology stack and addressing user experience gaps through what they characterized as foundational, rather than incremental, innovation.

Main hardware details and availability are still scarce at the moment. We will get back to you once Dreame fully launches its new smartphone products.
