Apple may release AirPods w/ cameras in late 2027

Bloomberg reports that Siri could soon answer questions about whatever's on your screen. For example, suggesting dinner ideas from a photo of ingredients. This capability would likely rely on Apple's Visual Intelligence, which analyzes images and provides context based on what your device's camera sees.

Reports claim that the camera inside the AirPods has the code name B798.

The device is expected to look like a regular AirPod, but with camera sensors on the stem.

Bloomberg added that the buds may feature external lights to show when data is being sent to the cloud for processing.
