Addressing Child Malnutrition
Globe Platinum, in partnership with La Carne Cebu and Ayala Foundation, hosted an exclusive charity dinner in Cebu aimed at raising support for the Hapag Movement, an initiative addressing child stunting and malnutrition across the Philippines.
The event, called Prime and Platinum, brought together Globe Platinum clients and local women leaders for an intimate dining experience. A portion of each participation fee went toward school feeding programs in Cebu, targeting hunger and stunting among children in underserved communities.
Globe Platinum is committed to creating experiences that go beyond exclusivity. Through this dinner for a cause, we give our customers meaningful ways to be part of advocacies that create lasting impact, said Mark Pasaylo, Head of Globe Platinum.
The dinner formed part of Globe Platinum's broader effort to tie premium customer experiences to social advocacy. Proceeds contributed directly to community programs under the Hapag Movement banner.
Ayala Foundation President Tony Lambino highlighted the significance of multi-sector collaboration in sustaining such programs.
Partnerships like these enable us to sustain programs that directly benefit our Hapag Movement communities, such as in BARMM, where child stunting is at its highest. It is a shared effort to create meaningful and lasting change, he said.
La Carne Cebu owner Jovy Tuaño described the event as an extension of the restaurant's commitment to purposeful dining.
At La Carne Cebu, we love to educate our patrons about our meat sources and differentiation. Experiences like these can elevate dining from nutrition awareness and food sustainability to advocacy. This partnership allows us to support communities while doing what we do best.
The Hapag Movement has seen considerable growth in its reach. In 2025, it supported over 150,000 families—surpassing its original target—through more than PHP 54.9 million in donations.
Globe Platinum customers can continue supporting the Hapag Movement through the GlobeOne App by navigating to the Rewards section and searching for The Hapag Movement to donate available points.
