Students attending were invited through their schools and organizations. Organizers said the event was intended to give participants from different campuses a shared space to exchange ideas and build connections, framing the activation around themes of community at a time when students face a range of academic, social, and economic pressures.

The screenings are part of an ongoing partnership between Globe and Disney that uses film and storytelling as a vehicle for messages around resilience and personal goal-setting.

During the event, students took part in raffles for exclusive merchandise and received information on student-focused perks available through the GlobeOne app under the Globe Rewards program. These include beep™ card load, food and beverage rewards, coffee credits, and free Timezone load.

Globe also used the event to promote the Globe Student Program, an initiative that allows student organizations to pitch projects addressing needs within their campuses and communities, to help selected initiatives scale.

The most powerful ideas often start within communities. Through the Globe Student Program, we want to give student leaders opportunities to collaborate, pursue initiatives they care about, and create impact that extends beyond their campuses, said Roche Vandenberghe, Globe Consumer Chief Marketing Officer.
