Moto Pad 70 Pro launched: Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, 13-inch 3.5K display, and 10,200mAh battery

Motorola launched a new premium Android tablet in India, named the Moto Pad 70 Pro.

The company said the new device is aimed at users who want a single device for productivity, entertainment, and creative work. 

The tablet ships with the Moto Pen Pro stylus and comes in a single Pantone-curated Titan colourway, with a full-metal body that measures 6.2mm thick and weighs around 589g.

On the display front, the Moto Pad 70 Pro features a 13-inch panel with 3.5K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and 12-bit colour depth. 

The screen also supports Dolby Vision, covers 99 percent of the DCI-P3 colour gamut, and reaches up to 800 nits of peak brightness. 

The tablet is powered by the 3.21GHz 4nm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 octa-core chipset. It is available with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage, expandable by up to 2TB via microSD card. 

Motorola states the chipset delivers an AnTuTu benchmark score of over 2.5 million and supports gaming at up to 120fps.

Battery duties are handled by a 10,200mAh cell with support for 45W fast charging, while a 68W charger is included in the retail box.

For imaging, the tablet includes a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera intended for video calls and photography.

Audio is handled by a quad-speaker setup tuned by JBL with Dolby Atmos support.

Other features include the bundled Moto Pen Pro stylus, which supports AI-powered tools such as Smart Capture, Sketch to Image, AI Super Res, AI Live Transcript, AI Notes, and Smarter Reader. 

The tablet also supports Smart Connect and Desk Mode, and an optional snap-on keyboard accessory adds a touchpad, a dedicated Smart Key, and PC-style workflow support.

On connectivity, the Moto Pad 70 Pro includes WiFi 7 (2.4GHz/5GHz), and Bluetooth 6.0.

The device runs Android 16 out of the box and is confirmed to receive software upgrades along with security updates through 2030.

It is currently available in India. No word yet if it will come to the Philippines.
