vivo X Fold6 launched: Dimensity 9500 Super Edition, 7,000mAh battery, and IP58 + IP59 rating

vivo has introduced its next-generation premium foldable with a MediaTek processor and a 7,000mAh high-capacity battery.

The new vivo X Fold6 strikes an impressive balance between slimness and robustness. When unfolded, it measures 4.4mm to 4.8mm thick (depending on the colorway), expanding to a comfortable 9.4-9.9mm when folded. It weighs between 228g and 235g.

It is available in striking color options such as Blue Hole, Salt Lake, Polar Night, and a special Black Gold Edition. It boasts IP58 + IP59 dust and water resistance rated and it features second-generation Armour Glass and UTG Glass.

The outer panel is a 6.51-inch BOE Q11 AMOLED screen with a 2,528 x 1,120 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 5,000 nits peak brightness. The inner folding panel is an 8.02-inch Samsung M14 folding AMOLED with a 2,504 x 2,312 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 5,000 nit peaks brightnes..

The X Fold6 is the first premium foldable from vivo to feature a MediaTek SoC and a massive 7,000mAh battery. Inside are the 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super Edition, ARM G1 Ultra GPU, LPDDR5X Ultra RAM, UFS 4.1 storage, and a 7,000mAh battery with 80W fast wired charging, 40W wireless charging, and 5W reverse wireless charging.

At the back are ZEISS-tuned 200MP f/1.68 Super Main camera, a 50MP f/2.05 ultra-wide angle camera, and a 50MP f/2.57 ZEISS APO Super Periscope Telephoto camera with an LED flash.

On the outer and inner screens is a 20MP f/2.4 selfie camera.

Running the show is the Android 16-based OriginOS 6 Fold. Other features include stereo speakers, an IR blaster, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 5G, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC.
