XG brings its bold, global style to G-SHOCK with two new collaboration watches

Almost a year after being named G-SHOCK's global ambassador, pop group XG is finally getting its first official collaboration with the iconic shock-resistant watch brand.

G-SHOCK and XG launched two new watches

Casio has announced two new G-SHOCK models created with the seven-member hip hop and R&B group: the GM-S5600XG and the GMA-S110XG.

The release of these collaboration models feels like a natural step for the group, as members JURIN, CHISA, HINATA, HARVEY, JURIA, MAYA, and COCONA have built their identity around bold performances, global appeal, and a sound that does not easily fit into one box. That same energy fits well with G-SHOCK, a brand known for watches that are rugged, expressive, and instantly recognizable.

First G-SHOCK x XG collaboration

XG was announced as G-SHOCK’s global ambassador in July 2025. Now, the partnership is moving from campaign visuals to actual items that ALPHAZ (XG fans) and watch collectors can wear.

While the new GM-S5600XG and GMA-S110XG both carry the same XG branding, each model has a very different personality.

The XG logo appears on the dials, band loops, and case backs of both watches, giving each model a clear collaborative touch.

GM-S5600XG: The sleek and versatile option

The GM-S5600XG is based on G-SHOCK’s classic 5600 line, which carries the familiar square shape inspired by the first-ever G-SHOCK.

For this XG version, Casio gives the watch a more refined look with a black band and bezel, making it easier to wear daily. The standout detail is the rainbow vapor deposition glass, which changes appearance depending on the viewing angle.

It is a subtle but stylish design choice that fits XG's image well. From one angle, it can look clean and low-key. From another, it reveals more color and personality. That makes it a good choice for those who want the low-key XG aesthetic but still prefer a watch that is easy to pair with everyday outfits.

The GM-S5600XG also comes with practical G-SHOCK basics like shock resistance, 200-meter water resistance, a stopwatch, a countdown timer, an alarm, a flash alert, and an LED backlight for checking the time in darker settings.

GMA-S110XG: The louder, bolder statement piece

If the GM-S5600XG is the cleaner and more versatile model, the GMA-S110XG is the more playful and expressive one.

This model is based on the 110 line, known for its layered and dimensional dial. For the XG collaboration, it gets a vivid pink band and bezel with a marbled look created through Casio’s Garal color molding technique. This process mixes different resin colors, giving each watch a unique pattern.

The result is a watch that feels more energetic and fashion-forward. Casio states that the design captures the vibe of 1990s R&B, which matches XG's music and styling influences nicely.

The dial also has a polarized finish, allowing the colors to shift depending on how the wrist is tilted. Combined with the pink marbled exterior and XG branding, this model feels made for ALPHAZ who want their watch to stand out.
