In China, Xiaomi has just introduced a new compact tool, advertised as safer, faster, and more convenient for trimming while keeping things tidy.

Premium hair trimmer for the modern age

The Mijia Electric Nose Hair Trimmer Pro stands out with its premium aluminum alloy body, made from a single piece, featuring an anodized finish with a matte sandblasted texture. It feels solid yet lightweight in the hand. It is small enough to slip easily into a travel kit, gymbag, or bathroom drawer. The overall shape is rounded and smooth with no sharp edges, which makes it comfortable and safe when used. It is IPX7 water resistance rated, too.

A magnetic protective cap covers the trimmer head. It snaps on and off cleanly to keep the blades safe and hygienic when not in use. The power button is cleverly hidden at the bottom to prevent accidental activations.  It's a thoughtful, user-friendly design that feels more refined than typical budget trimmers. 

Inside is an 8,000RPM motor and a battery that is rated for up to 150 minutes of run time per charge. The blade features a 11-degrees slanted design (that supposedly increases the hair-capturing area), and a vertical curved cutting edge (for smooth and precise results).  Its blade head includes an anti-bacterial coating and is fully removable for easy cleaning.

Xiaomi says that the trimmer excels at nose and ear hair grooming but works well for light eyebrow touch-ups, too. The rounded, non-sharp blade design minimizes tugging, pulling, or skin irritation (a common complaint with manual methods or cheaper trimmers). Users can rinse it thoroughly after each session, keeping it fresh and sanitary.
