DITO Telecommunity and Stere Asia Pacific signed a strategic partnership agreement today, bringing together several players from the insurance, healthcare, and insurtech sectors. Representatives from PGA Sompo, Starr Insurance Companies, iCare, and HiDoc attended the signing ceremony.

The agreement is designed to give more Filipinos access to digital insurance products by pairing DITO's telecom network with Stere's insurance offerings.

A shared push for broader protection

Both companies said the partnership reflects a common goal: using digital platforms to make insurance more accessible, not just expanding connectivity. DITO plans to use its subscriber base and telecom infrastructure as a channel for Stere's insurance products, with a particular focus on underserved and emerging market segments across the country.

Executives from Stere Asia Pacific, PGA Sompo, Starr Insurance Companies, iCare, and HiDoc were present at the signing, underscoring the collaborative, ecosystem-wide approach behind the initiative. Each partner is expected to contribute to product development and help widen the reach of Stere's insurance offerings under the new agreement.
