Facebook is down? Desktop access issues reported in PH

Several users in the Philippines are reporting problems accessing Facebook on desktop, with login and browsing functions disrupted.

Interestingly, mobile access appears unaffected (including mine), as some users confirm they can still use Facebook on their phones without issue.

On my end, other Meta services remain stable, with Instagram and Threads accessible via browser. This contrast highlights that the disruption seems isolated to Facebook’s desktop experience on Windows rather than a wider outage across Meta's platforms.

The error also exists on the browser of our Apple iPad.

The error reads,

Account Temporarily Unavailable.

Your account is currently unavailable due to a site issue. We expect this to be resolved shortly. Please try again in a few minutes.

Reports are beginning to surface on X, where users are sharing their experiences and checking if others face the same issue.

As of now, Meta has not released an official statement, leaving affected users to speculate and seek updates through social channels.
