GCash Ignite Innovation Summit 2026 is a hit!

The GCash Ignite Innovation Summit 2026, which kicked off last Friday, July 24, at the SMX Convention Center Aura, drew an estimated attendance of around 3,000 people from government, fintech, and global tech giants.


The event was co‑presented by Alibaba Cloud, Google Cloud, Huawei, AWS, DepEd, and DICT.

In summary, the GCash Ignite 2026 Innovation Summit unites top tech leaders, policymakers, and cybersecurity pioneers in shaping the future of the digital economy.

The summit had keynotes, panels, and breakout tracks with experts spotlighting Responsible AI & Digital Trust, Cloud Transformation & Cyber Resilience, Inclusive Digital Finance, and many more.

Senator Bam Aquino took the stage and joined the podcast session, delivering his talk on “The Integration of Digitalization into Legislative Priorities.” His remarks resonated strongly, earning enthusiastic cheers from the crowd.

Other key voices included Yiang Meng Loh (Huawei), Miguel Geronilla (Mynt CISO), Olivier Klein (AWS), Jagdish Mahapatra (Google Cloud Security JAPAC), and Daniel Toh (Thales). Cybersecurity experts such as Lauro Burkart (Sysdig), Andrew Haschka (GitLab), Atty. Aris Manguera (DOJ Office of Cybercrime), and Bisham Kishnani (Check Point) further underscored the importance of safeguarding digital ecosystems.

The summit also highlighted the collaborative push to harness innovation for a more secure, efficient, and inclusive digital future with four specialized tracks led by experts including Grant Gong, Jamie Bertasi, Mark Troy‑Davies, and Jian Paolo Fajardo.
