This digital disbursement program aims to make government assistance more efficient, secure, and accessible.

Through the initiative, verified beneficiaries receive fuel aid straight into their GCash wallets.

GCash explains that this eliminates the need for long queues, travel, and manual processing, ensuring faster and more transparent delivery of ayuda to transport workers.

The program was launched in response to rising global fuel prices, which have placed heavy financial strain on PUV drivers and operators.

The government hopes to ease the burden while strengthening accountability in subsidy distribution by leveraging digital platforms like GCash.

GCash emphasized its commitment to supporting the public good, highlighting how digital infrastructure can remove barriers and uphold equitable access to essential services. LTFRB, meanwhile, ensures that only fully verified drivers and operators with valid records are included in the beneficiary list.

Drivers can confirm eligibility through LTFRB's official channels, including its Facebook page and regional offices. Once verified, they must secure a fully verified GCash account to receive the subsidy.

GCash is committed to working with the government to ensure that digital financial infrastructure advances equitable access to essential services and upholds the dignity of every Filipino. In partnership with the LTFRB, this initiative demonstrates how digital subsidy disbursement can remove structural barriers, such as long queues and manual processes, while strengthening transparency and accountability in delivering government support to Filipinos, said GCash B2B Sales Head, Cleo Celeste Santos.

Beneficiaries are reminded that GCash will never ask for OTPs or send suspicious links, reinforcing the program’s focus on safety and transparency.
