Google has officially confirmed the launch date for its next-generation Pixel devices.

The new Pixel successor is launching next month

According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, who received an invitation to the event, Google will hold its Pixel launch event on August 12 in New York City at 6 p.m. local time (3 p.m. Pacific Time). 

This follows an earlier rumor suggesting an August 11 launch date, which proved to be inaccurate, though only by a day.

Separately, recent leaks indicate pricing changes for the Pixel 11 lineup in Europe. The Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro are expected to start at 256GB of storage, matching the price of their predecessors at that storage tier. 

However, the Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold are reportedly set to receive a EUR 100 price increase across all storage configurations. 

It remains unclear whether similar pricing adjustments will apply to other markets, including the United States.
