Upgraded repairable phone
The device is offered in three colors: a new Cobalt Blue option alongside the existing Forest Green and Horizon Black.
Like the Fairphone 6, it features 12 user-replaceable parts, with the USB-C port, battery, display, and back cover designed to be swapped in under five minutes.
The microphones, side buttons, and fingerprint scanner require servicing at a repair center, and the company says spare parts will remain available until 2033. The phone also ships with a five-year warranty.

In terms of display, the Fairphone 6+ has a 6.31-inch LTPO OLED display with a resolution of 2484 x 1116 and a 120Hz refresh rate.
Powering the device is 4nm Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. It is paired with 12GB of RAM
The battery capacity stands at 4,415 mAh, with support for 30W wired fast charging.
On the camera front, the phone includes a 50MP main sensor from Sony's Lytia 700C line with optical image stabilization, a 13MP ultrawide lens, and a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies.

The Fairphone 6+ runs Android 16 out of the box and is promised six major Android version upgrades.
According to the company, security update support is set to extend to 2032 or 2033, though the phrasing used on Fairphone's website leaves some ambiguity about the exact end date.

Beyond hardware, the Fairphone 6+ marks a notable shift in availability: for the first time, a Fairphone device will be officially sold in the United States, through both Fairphone's website and Amazon, without the caveat that it lacks Android support.
