Xiaomi Philippines has announced that its Xiaomi 17 Ultra is now available at Leica Store Philippines, which may be a first in the country.

Launched in the country early this year, Xiaomi 17 Ultra boasts flagship internals, engineered for high performance and featuring an advanced imaging system developed in collaboration with Leica.

The camera system on the Xiaomi 17 Ultra is led by a 50MP f/1.67 main sensor featuring the Light Fusion 1050L sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and LOFIC HDR technology.

This is complemented by a 50MP f/2.2 115-degree JN5 ultra-wide lens and a 200MP f/2.39 to 2.96 Samsung HPE telephoto camera capable of zooming from 75mm to 100mm.

The lens assembly carries Leica's APO certification and utilizes a 3G+5P floating lens element, enabling telephoto macro shots from a distance of 30 centimeters.

For selfies and video calls, the front-facing camera is a 50MP sensor that records video at up to 4K resolution and 60 frames per second.

The device measures 162.9 x 77.6 x 8.29mm and weighs 218.4 grams. The handset comes with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

The device features a 6.9-inch HyperRGB OLED LTPO flat display with a resolution of 2608 x 1200 pixels, resulting in a pixel density of 420 PPI. The screen supports a variable refresh rate from 1 to 120Hz. It achieves a peak brightness of 3,500 nits, supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, and is protected by Xiaomi Shield Glass.

Under the hood, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra is equipped with the 4.6GHz 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with an Adreno GPU. The configuration includes 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.

For thermal management, the phone incorporates a dual ring-shaped liquid cooling system designed to dissipate heat from both the central processor and the camera module, a solution the company claims improves thermal conductivity by 50 percent.

Powering the device is a 6,000mAh Xiaomi Surge battery. It supports 90W wired charging via USB-C HyperCharge and 50W wireless HyperCharge.

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is available in Black and White. It is priced at PHP 99,999.
