The event is scheduled for Wednesday, October 28, at 10 AM PT, and will take place in person in Los Angeles. It is expected to feature top-tier creators and introduce new pro-focused hardware. There is speculation surrounding long-awaited updates, including high-performance Mac models and revamped displays, building on the momentum of Apple's flagship releases.

Apple is significantly increasing its focus on domestic manufacturing. As part of its ambitious USD 600 billion investment commitment over the next four years in the U.S., the company has highlighted key domestic partners who are contributing to its latest hardware lineup.

Apple is committing up to USD 100 million over the next three years to the Perryman Company, based in Pennsylvania. If you're admiring the sleek grade 5 titanium enclosure of the new iPhone Duo (Apple's first foldable phone), you can thank Perryman. They melt, forge, and roll this ultra-durable metal, using at least 80 percent recycled titanium.

In Delaware, Qnity Electronics is providing specialized optical films that are crucial to the new variable aperture mechanism in the iPhone 18 Pro's camera system. The 48MP Fusion Main camera utilizes on-device intelligence to automatically adjust the aperture blades for precise exposure and depth control.

Broadcom is investing USD 1.5 billion to modernize its facility in Fort Collins, Colorado, with plans to produce 15 billion U.S.-made RF chips. Meanwhile, TSMC's fab in Arizona is scaling up advanced silicon manufacturing for Apple products.

Corning is expanding its production of Ceramic Shield and cover glass. By late 2026, all cover glass for iPhones—including the iPhone Duo—sold worldwide will be sourced from its plant in Harrodsburg.

All direct suppliers have pledged to operate on 100 percent renewable energy for Apple operations by 2030. Additionally, Apple’s 20,000-square-foot Advanced Manufacturing Center (AMC) located in Houston, Texas, is actively training small to medium-sized domestic suppliers in precision assembly methods.
