GCash celebrates 22nd birthday with PHP 10 chicken meals, free MRT rides, and more

GCash turns 22
It aims to bring popular Filipino birthday traditions like pakain, palibre, and pamigay to users across the country.
According to the company, until October 31, GCash is offering special deals, free rides, exciting prizes, and on-ground activities as a way of thanking Filipinos who have supported the platform through the years.
Highlights include PHP 10 chicken meals from partner brands such as KFC, Chooks-to-Go, Andok's, and Baliwag.
GCash users can also enjoy free MRT-3 rides until October 23 by paying via Commute QR, Tap-to-Pay, or a GCash Visa Card at designated GCash turnstiles. Moreover, riders only need to maintain a minimum balance of PHP 14, which is refunded after completing their trip.
GCash also revealed that users can win prizes through the GBirthday promo.
How? By completing eligible transactions and joining the in-app "shake to play" activity, they can receive instant GCash credits and raffle entries for major prizes, including up to PHP 100,000 in GCash credits and 100 Yamaha YTX 125 motorcycles with free Standard Insurance via GInsure.

Meanwhile, Filipinos abroad, GCash Overseas is launching its first "Shake It, Win It" rewards program, where eligible transactions can earn raffle entries for a chance to win round-trip flights for two to the Philippines.
The celebration will also feature games, giveaways, and live activities across Metro Manila, including GStocks booths and appearances by popular creators and celebrities on GCash's official TikTok page.
